Pm Surya Ghar Yojana
PM Surya Ghar Yojana, also known as PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, is a government initiative to promote the use of solar energy in households. Under this scheme, people are encouraged to install solar panels on their rooftops to generate their own electricity and minimize their bills. A subsidized amount is paid into the account of individuals who install solar panels from registered vendors. A total subsidy of ₹1,08,000 is provided, combining contributions from both central and state governments. This program aims to make solar energy affordable and accessible, fostering a sustainable energy future for residential areas.

process for the
Solar Panel Installation and subsidy
Apply for pm surya ghar yojana
- Click on apply for rooftop solar
- click on registration tab
- Fill the details:- state, district, electricity distribution company, consumer number
- login with conumer number or mobile number
- apply for the rooftop solar as per solar form
- automatic feasibility approve
- select vendor from the list (select vendor from your city)
- call them and ask for site visit
- close your deal mutually with the vendor and sign the agreement
- get the plant installed
- upload agreement on portal
- submit installation on portal
- discom will attend your site for inspection
- registered vendor will help you in net-metering
- discom will install net-meter and your plant is in running condition now
- discom will commission the plant from their portal
- redeem the subsidy from your portal
